Zoe and Are-lea’s species trace their origins to an extinct alien bird. Their DNA is subtly integrated into humans in tiny amounts. Zoe has the largest eyes of any character I create, giving her an owl-like appearance. She often displays goofy expressions. Although she is beautiful, her childhood disability caused other cadets to view her as weak and a failure. Something she carries with her into adulthood.
