I know Hitomu is a boy’s name! Her father wanted a boy. She hates her dad. She’s a shape-shifting Yōkai; this is her human form. Actually, she’s a Tanuki, or Raccoon Dog. But if you want her to be nice to you, so you can have good luck, call her by the name she chose for herself: “Hitomi.”
